VM size and disk options in NMM

Starting v3.6, we have changed how we display VM size and disk options describing the VM in NMM. The retail pricing information will be displayed when you are selecting a VM or Disk while adding a server, host pool, session host or a global or desktop image.

Adding a server

While adding a new server, NMM displays the VM size (D2s_v3 or E10) along with the pricing $0.10/hr retail:

Note: By default, NMM creates Gen2 Server VM's OS and data disks as GPT disks. NMM supports up to 4095GiB for OS disks and larger for data disks.

 

Once the server is provisioned with the selected VM/OS size, NMM doesn't display the retail pricing next to the VM size or the OS disk:

Adding a host pool

While adding a new host pool, NMM displays the VM size (D2s_v3 or E10) along with the pricing $0.10/hr retail:

Once the host pool is provisioned with the selected VM/OS size, NMM doesn't display the retail pricing next to the VM size or the OS disk:

Adding a session host

While adding a new session host, NMM displays the VM size (D2s_v3 or E10) along with the pricing $0.10/hr retail:

Note: By default, NMM allows you to create a Gen2 VM's OS and data disks as GPT disks. Also, NMM supports up to 4095GiB for OS disks and larger for data disks.

Once the session host is provisioned with the selected VM/OS size, NMM doesn't display the retail pricing next to the VM size or the OS disk:

Adding a global image

While adding a new global image from Azure image library, NMM displays the VM size (D2s_v3 or E10) along with the pricing $0.10/hr retail:

Adding a desktop image

While adding a new desktop image from Azure image library, NMM displays the VM size (D2s_v3 or E10) along with the pricing $0.10/hr retail:

Note: The retail pricing information is displayed as per hour pricing for each VM/OS disk.
