How to change account name and add notes


Applies to: Nerdio Manager for MSP (NMM) v3.1.0+


NMM allows MSPs to customize the names of their customer accounts and also add notes for individual accounts. These two features help MSPs to better manage their accounts.

Changing the account name

To change the account name on NMM portal, navigate to Home page. Select an account and expand the "Manage" action menu:

Click option "Change name" from "Manage" action menu:

On the "Change account name" pop-up, enter the new name of the account and click "OK" button:

You will be able to see the changed name of the account and the corresponding tasks in the "Account tasks" section:

Click "Details" option on a specific task to view the job details:

Adding notes for the account

To add notes for an account, navigate to Home page. Select an account and expand the "Manage" action menu:

Click option "Notes" from "Manage" action menu:

On the "Account notes" pop-up, type your notes and click "Save button:

Note: You can add text in the "Account notes" up to a maximum of 4000 characters. The text format can be alphanumeric (lower /upper case alphabets, numbers), or special characters.

You will be able to see the notes for your account once the corresponding tasks complete successfully:
