Endpoint Analytics scores for Intune devices

Applies to: Nerdio Manager for MSP (NMM) v3.0.0+

Endpoint analytics enables you to proactively optimize the user experience and track your progress along the way. It’s your main dashboard as an IT administrator to track the quality level of both your Cloud PC, AVD and physical PC environment. To make endpoint analytics relevant to Nerdio users, NMM portal shows analytics scores at the host pool level, session hosts level, device level, and User level (if a user is assigned to AVD or Cloud PC).

Login to your account on NMM portal and navigate to AVD>Host Pool page. On the Host Pool page, you can view the endpoint analytics score under the Desktop Experience column:

Hover over the endpoint analytics score to view the tooltip:

Few points to note:

  • The Endpoint Analytics score for device is a weighted average of startup score and app reliability score.
  • For pooled desktops, the lowest score is displayed across the devices (session hosts) in the host pool. If all devices have same score, the score of the oldest device is displayed
  • For personal desktops, the score of the specific session host the user is assigned to is displayed

Note that it takes about one week of active usage before a score is reported for your device. The score will be shown as Not Available (N/A) until then.

On the Intune devices page, you can view Startup performance score for your device. Select a device, expand the action menu and click Startup performance option as shown below:CPC_pradeep_startup_performance_score.png

You can view details such as boot history, sign-in history, apps affecting login times, OS restart history etc. along with the startup performance for your device:

Note that it takes about one week of active usage before a score is reported for your device. The score will be shown as Not Available (N/A) until then.

Factors that contribute to a device's startup performance are:

Boot history: Boot history section gives you an insight into how long it takes to boot up a device. The duration of each phase (update phase, group policy phase, to sign-in screen and feature update) are displayed under this section.

Sign-in history: Sign-in history provides an insight into how long it takes to sign-in after device has booted up. The duration of each phase (responsive desktop phase, group policy phase, desktop phase  and first sign-in phase) are displayed under this section.

Apps affecting login times: In this section, you will find the list of applications that slow down your device or affect login times.

OS restart history: In this section, you will find the OS restart history such as date, OS version and restart category for your device.
