User roles for Nerdio partners


Applies to: Nerdio Private Cloud (NPC) and Nerdio For Azure (NFA)


Nerdio partners (Managed Service Providers and distributors) can create logins for others in their organization to log in to Nerdio Admin Portal (NAP). A partner can assign one of five different roles to other users. This allows partners to limit access to various employees managing their customers’ IT environments.

How to view various user roles in NAP?

  1. Sign in to NAP as a Partner admin
  2. From the main menu, select "NAP users" tab
  3. On the "NAP users" page, scroll down and click the button "Add NAP user":NAP_user_tab.png
  4. Enter all details like first name, last name, email address, mobile number, etc.
  5. Expand the "Role" drop down to view and select a user role and click "Save" button:Partner_admin_user_roles.png

Hello,
I'd like to suggest creating an additional Role. In our case we have a couple users who are primarily technicians but work a little with sales and giving them access to the current billing information and to the estimating tool would be beneficial. Currently we're assigning them as partner admins but I'd prefer to only allow access to the areas they need.
* No access to manage other NAP users
* Full access to manage customer accounts
* Full access to Billing and payment information
