Install Nerdio Manager

Important Note: If you are a Distributor Partner, please check with your Distributor before installing because alternative installation instructions may apply.
Nerdio Manager is installed and billed through the Azure Marketplace. The installation process generally takes 10-15 minutes, and can be broken down into the following phases:
Phase 1: Install from the Azure Marketplace
Note: Sign in to the Azure portal as Global Admin and Subscription Owner before starting the install process.
To install Nerdio Manager from the Azure Marketplace:
In the Azure Marketplace, search for Nerdio Manager for MSP.
Select Get It Now.
Review your contact information and select Continue.
You are redirected to the Azure portal.
Enter the following information:
Subscription: From the drop-down list, select the subscription for the app.
Resource group: From the drop-down list, select the resource group for the app.
Tip: We recommend creating a new resource group for the app.
Region: From the drop-down list, select the region for the app.
Managed Application Details:
Application Name: Type the application name.
Managed Resource Group: From the drop-down list, select the managed resource group to contain the resources created for the app, such as the app service, the SQL Server instance, etc.
Once you have entered all the desired information, select Review + create.
Agree to the terms and conditions and select Create.
Phase 2: Initialize Nerdio Manager
Once the deployment is finished, the following steps must be performed to initialize your installation of Nerdio Manager.
Note: Sign in to the Azure portal as Global Admin and Subscription Owner before running these steps.
To initialize Nerdio Manager:
In the Azure portal, search for App Services. Alternatively, open the Resource Group created by Nerdio Manager.
Locate the app service called web-admin-portal-xxxxxxx.
Select the app service to find the URL associated with the app service.
Open a browser tab and navigate to the URL.
The web page shows a PowerShell command.
Copy the PowerShell command.
Select Launch Azure Cloud Shell.
Note: If needed, select PowerShell (not Bash) and create a storage account for the shell history.
Paste the PowerShell command and press Enter to run it.
The script takes about 5-10 minutes to install and configure the Nerdio Manager application on the app service.
Phase 3: Register Your Install
Once the script finishes and the install is initialized, you next need to register your install.
To register your install:
When the script finishes, return to the app service URL and reload the page.
Be sure to select Consent on behalf of your organization.
Provide your registration details.
When you have entered all the registration information, select Register.
The installation is complete and the main Nerdio Manager interface is displayed.
