Does Nerdio implement content, category, or URL filtering as part of perimeter security?

Yes. Each one of our customers has a dedicated Fortigate firewall protecting their private cloud. Each tenant is preconfigured with the full UTM suite of tools: IDS, IPS, and content filtering. You are able to configure and manage these individually.

Fortigate UTM suite is included but you can turn it off in the firewall. If you prefer, you can use other solutions, such as OpenDNS, instead of Fortigate UTM. Note that you do not have access to manage the firewall from the native interface until the account is upgraded from trial to a paid plan.
